Appledore Sandybottom

The historic coastal village of Appledore in North Devon sits on the banks of the Torridge estuary, which experiences dramatic tidal water level changes of up to 7 meters between high and low tide. It's quite a unique experience to walk along the estuary bed at low tide amongst these craft, gently resting on their sides. I like to imagine they're having a bit of a nap while they wait for the water to return in a few hours
