Postage & Packaging

I ship all my pieces fully insured using tracked and signed for delivery options wherever available. There is no charge for delivery to the UK and EU. Delivery to the USA costs £50. For all other other destinations shipping costs will be provided upon request.

Materials

All my pieces are created using professional, archive quality artist materials for the finest results, ensuring the longevity of your commissioned piece. Finished pieces are provided unmounted and unframed.

Waiting List

I often have a waiting list, so please contact me well in advance of the date by which you’d like to receive your finished piece. If you are working towards a specific date let me know at the time of your initial enquiry. I will always do my best to accommodate your deadlines, but may regrettably decline when I feel the time available will be insufficient.

Photography

The better the quality of the reference photo you can provide the better the finished portrait will be. To help me achieve the best possible detail and likeness of your pet, please provide multiple photos.

Things to consider when choosing a photo

  • Detail: The more detail contained in the photo the better. This is often related to the resolution of the photo, and is particularly true of key features such as your pet's eyes and nose.

  • Focus: The sharper the focus of the provided picture the better I can recreate your pet's likeness.

  • Lighting: Photographs taken in natural light work best, but a well lit interior shot may also work in some instances. Try to take your photos outside on an overcast day for best results.

  • Distance: Be aware that pictures taken close up can lead to your pet's features appearing distorted.

  • Eye Level: Generally the best photos are taken at eye level with your pet.
